Delete your account

Experimenters Circuits, published by Experimenters (Viktor Grigorev)

An Experimenters account holds only its sign-in methods: an email address, Apple, Google or Meta. You delete the account yourself, from the Experimenters Circuits app for Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Meta Quest, from the lab in the browser or from the account page; nobody has to approve the request.

In the app or in the lab in the browser

  1. Open the main menu and press Account. The lab asks you to sign in if you are signed out.
  2. Under Account management, press Delete in the Account deletion row.
  3. Tick I understand that the account cannot be restored and press Delete account permanently. If you signed in more than ten minutes ago, the lab first asks you to sign in again with any sign-in method of the account.

On the account page

Open circuits.experimenters.app/api/account/, sign in with the code from your email, with Apple, Google or Meta, and do step 3 above.

What we delete

At once: the account, its email address, its Apple, Google and Meta sign-ins, and every session on every device. We also ask Apple to withdraw the lab's access to your Apple ID. Copies in server backups disappear within 30 days as the backups rotate.

What stays

  • Your circuit files stay on your device: the lab opens and saves them as files, and we never receive them.
  • Usage statistics (Unity Analytics) and error reports (Sentry) carry no account data, so deleting the account does not touch them. Unity keeps the statistics for up to 13 months; switch them off in Settings → Usage statistics, and the lab asks Unity to delete what it collected from this installation. Sentry keeps error reports for up to 90 days.

If you cannot sign in

Write to info@experimenters.app from the address of the account. We delete the account and answer within one month. An account without an email address signs in only through Apple, Google or Meta: sign in with one of them and delete the account as above.

What we keep of every kind of data, and for how long, is in the Privacy Policy.
